About
WordPress Expert & Entrepreneur
I’m Aaron Reimann, a veteran web architect, entrepreneur, and WordPress infrastructure expert based in Atlanta, Georgia. With nearly three decades of experience building for the web, I’ve evolved alongside the internet - from the experimental days of 3-D graphics and Flash animation in 1996, to engineering enterprise-grade headless architectures and lightning-fast static sites today. Throughout my career, my driving passion has always been solving complex technical problems with elegant, high-performance code.
My digital journey began in high school with 3-D computer animation (which even earned me a scholarship to SCAD), giving me a natural transition into web design. My true entry into programming didn’t start until 2001, when I dove deep into server-side engineering by learning PHP and MySQL. I actually built my own custom Content Management System from scratch - and then promptly abandoned it the moment I discovered the power of WordPress.
In 2010, I channeled my technical obsession into business by co-founding the digital agency Sideways8 with my partner Adam Walker. We spent nearly a decade scaling the agency before successfully selling it in 2019. That exact same year, I returned to my engineering roots and launched ClockworkWP (later renamed to Clockwork Web Dev), a premium agency dedicated exclusively to advanced WordPress development, custom API integrations, and high-performance server architecture. Most recently, I’ve also been actively building and scaling my newest SaaS side-project, VerifyMyVibe.com.
Today, my technical focus bridges my deep PHP engineering background with the absolute cutting-edge of web performance, specializing in bridging legacy architectures into modern frameworks like Astro. When I’m not architecting server solutions or pushing the boundaries of web speed, I’m highly active in the tech community. I serve as a lead organizer for WordCamp Atlanta and the Atlanta WordPress Meetup, speak regularly at tech events globally, and share my development workflows and raw technical deep-dives on my somewhat active YouTube channel.
